A Line From Us

As the Apostle Paul transits from theological to practical issues in his epistle to the Ephesians, he exhorts them, “Therefore I, the prisoner of the Lord, implore you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which you have been called” (Eph 4:1). What does a worthy Christian walk look like?

First and foremost, the Christian must give himself whole-heartedly over to the worship of the true and living God, as The Man of Worship makes clear. He should also be a man who communes much with God before the throne of grace; Prayer – Our Lifeline to God shows us why this is so necessary to keep us on the path of righteousness.

Having kept one’s heart in devotion to God, the rest of the Christian life should flow naturally. He would be a model of gentleness, he would also be faithful in stewardship; the articles Blessed are the Meek and Investment teach us God’s will in these two essential matters. Pulling it altogether, The Faded Rose Shall Bloom Again is the testimony of a precious saint who has seen God’s unwavering faithfulness as he perseveres in his walk with Christ.

But all the above articles will mean nothing to you if you do not know Christ Jesus as your Saviour and Lord. You cannot walk with Him if you have not first repented of your sins and called on Him to save you. God Redeems and Restores Us explains how the righteous God reconciles wicked sinners to Himself through the cross of Calvary. And for such a wonderful salvation, A Prayer of Thanksgiving is a fitting response and plea.

May the Lord bless you richly as you take in these truths from His Word.
